Never played the games, but they look like different people to me. *shrugs*
Different but equally excellent. Ah, the seeds of the demoscene... So stylish...
I see the difference, and I like the original Max Payne character better. But I liked both games equally.

Quite different, isn't it? That's money for you...
Since they had a lot more cash to do the 2nd game they discarded the "first face" (based on an element of the development team) in order to do a more "professional" one.
