Okami redux

So, I've finally beat Okami! It was about damn time! The first time around I got somewhat bored, not the game's fault but my own, since I have a rather short attention span when it comes to games. My PS2's condition certainly didn't help either. But now, with my console revitalized, I decided to finally try to finish it, and just a while ago I was successful in this task. Let me tell you, this game was a blast to the very end, full of unexpected plot twists and with an ending that was truly epic. Even the credits were fucking awesome!

(got to do this to my dog one day) (fuck, he's brown, I'll have to paint him white first...)

Finally I can truly appreciate this masterpiece of a game, for now I can see the whole picture, and to be honest I'm rather speechless... Trying to convey what this game represents through words is a daunting task, you have to play it yourself, experience it yourself, to understand why this title is so special. This is no mere game, this is art, this is excellence, this is awesomeness! And everyone should play it, every gamer worth is salt must play it, for otherwise he'll be missing out one of the best things this industry, nowadays filled with shitware (eheh, I think I've just created a new word), ever produced.

Clover Software, thanks for producing this most awesome of games. I salute you!

(you know someone is a big Okami fan when you see this on his leg)

One of these days I will own the Wii version... Would you say its better than Zelda..?

Well, it comes down to one's taste, I guess, but for me it owns Zelda any time!

This was such a unique game. Dogs scare the hell out of me, but Okami is fine in my book. Needles are terrifying, so I doubt I would ever get a tattoo.

By the way, I just learned that there are multiple endings in GTA 4. Who would have thunk it?

Technically Amaterasu is a wolf, not a dog :P I'm glad I'm not scared of needles, otherwise I would've been in hell (I do annual blood tests since I was a kid).

I never knew that! Haven't finished it yet. Now that I think of it, I haven't even played it lately!

I still need to finish this game! I was quite a ways into it when I played it on my PS2, and since I've had my PS3 I started over and I'm not that far into it.

And I LOL'd at the picture of that dog! XD

You should finish it Neba. There is a total of 2 endings just like Mass Effect. It screams epic. Everything was epic. The sex was epic; the prostitutes were epic; the lap dances were epic; the exotic dancers were epic; the strip club was epic.

I was first really into this and then like you I got bored...

I haven't finished it and maybe I never will. I played it enough to know it's completely original and owning the Wii version will never happen.

How far did you go? You should really make an effort to try and finish it, I know how hard that is sometimes but in this case it's totally worth it.

I already completed GTA 4 Neba. Yes, it was a tough game to beat. But I did it. I have no interest in getting 100 % completion. Shooting birds is unappealing.

I got quite far into it (I think) but I couldn't tell you how far 'cos I've forgotten. I just didn't know what to do next and got bored. I seem to remember being in a field that was haunted by demons. I'd killed all the demons lots of times (there was also a pier going out into the water and a ferrythat had been abandoned. Does any of this make sense?

Indeed it does, you're somewhere around the middle of the game, I think. That part was a bit confusing for me too, but it gets better after that.

eu também o acabei Neba, e adorei... as fotos do almoço é que nunca mais chegam, tamos tramados...

É mesmo... :/ Espero bem que a espera valha a pena :P
